Everyday

Splitter

Splitter

I struggle to find things to write about each day. We usually do some combination of cooking/baking, horse feeding, wood splitting, hauling or stacking, skiing, music, blogging or reading. If we have a plane coming, we have to pack the runway and get the gasoline barrels out to the lake, maybe pump some diesel into the big tank. Once a week we take inventory on the fuel and horse feed. Oh and I can’t forget the daily aviation weather reports. That’s it. Other than that, we enjoy being here. I have many cups of tea, I appreciate the warmth of the stove, I give the horses carrots, take pictures. Exist.

I guess that is part of the beauty of this experience, the routine, the simplicity.

No distractions from living and experiencing each and everyday.
