More snow today. I am watching it fall outside, with no fanfare. No wind or ice, just silent, softly falling flakes.
It slowly covers the spruces, the alders, the horses backs and the foxes noses.
They all run to find cover on days like this, when it looks like the snow might never end. Days where the end of the lake and the peaks of the surrounding mountains are made imaginary by the falling snow.
This means no plane today. No supplies, no fuel, no horse feed… oh well, come what may. Tomorrow is another day. We will cross our fingers for clear weather; the horses will be disappointed if there is no breakfast.
