The night is not yet dark but that does not stop the moon from rising and shining like the sun over the great one.
It was a special scene last night when the moon, full and bright made it’s migration above the Alaska range with the mountains fully visible against the twilight. Even though there were a few wisps of clouds present, the moon and it’s reflection shown brightly, enough to make me question the time on my watch.
August is a time of big changes here in Denali, darkness is starting to reclaim the night, the flowers have given way to berries and the bright green leaves of summer have began their annual senescence. Where has the summer gone?
